Daily Yoga + Vedic Meditation

Megan will lead daily yoga classes, and Susan will train you in Vedic Meditation a mantra-based practice that is the most powerful technique to release stress and enliven bliss.

In the evenings, we’ll sit in a sharing circle and explore topics like divine femininity, how to attract the right partner for us, and how to cultivate sustained inner happiness and bliss that serves as the foundation of every great relationship.

You’ll have your own meditation practice and technique that you’ll enjoy the benefits of long after the end of the retreat.

ABOUT SUSAN CHEN

  • After 14 years working on Wall Street in New York, Susan turned to Vedic Meditation to find resilience in the chaos. The practice was so effective in quickly eliminating stress and overwhelm in her life that she left the corporate world to study and teach full time.
  • One of the biggest shifts that Susan felt after integrating Vedic Meditation in her life was a feeling of total acceptance – and celebration – for the twists and turns in her life journey. She began to feel love and appreciation for herself, others. As a result, all of Susan’s relationships began to bloom and evolve in the most expansive ways.
  • In 2017, after two years of study and immersing herself in a 12-week training program in India with Thom Knoles, Susan was inducted as a Vedic Meditation teacher in the highest order.
  • Today, Susan loves teaching women how to reclaim their divine essence and share their unique gifts with the world.

What is Vedic Meditation?

Vedic Meditation is an effortless mental process. We use a mantra to trigger deep rest in the mind and body, and what results is an awakening of the full potential of the mind and a fully restored physiology. For me, Vedic Meditation has been the easiest meditation technique I’ve learned. Unlike other methods that require focus, concentration, yogi-like flexibility, and lots of time, Vedic Meditation is natural, quick, and simple. It was crafted specifically for busy people with busy lives.

Vedic Meditation is practiced 20-minutes, twice a day.

What are the benefits of Vedic Meditation?

Within a short time, I experienced increased focus, concentration, and clear-headed thinking. My energy levels and creativity improved. I felt years of fatigue and stress melt away. With this newfound baseline of rest, I made decisions more accurately and quickly, felt greater emotional stability, and generally felt happier and more blissful.

How will you support me after I complete the course?

Once you have completed the meditation course, you receive lifelong support from me. I’ll be sending you weekly emails for your first year of practice and offer tips, tricks, and reminders to keep you consistent with your meditation practice. Also included in your course fee is the ability to audit the Vedic Meditation course at any stage and as often as you wish. You will also enjoy unlimited follow-up at group meditations with myself and other Vedic Meditation teachers around the world – for life.

This support is included in your retreat fee.

What if I already practice Vedic meditation? Can I still attend?

Yes, all Vedic Meditators are welcome to attend this retreat. Susan will instruct you in the Advanced Practice of Rounding on retreat, as well as guide you through some additional practices to help advance your meditation practice to the next level.

Do I need to be “good” at yoga or meditation to attend this retreat?

Yogis and meditators of all levels are welcome on our retreat! 

Yoga classes are accessible to all levels of practice, even if you are a complete beginner. Megan’s teaching style is very inclusive, and the studio is equipped with lots of props for modifications and adjustments.

Morning classes will be a moderate to strong vinyasa practice. Evening classes will be restorative yin yoga, which is a very gentle and easy practice that everyone can enjoy.

Vedic Meditation courses do not require any type of prior meditation experience. It is enjoyable and available to everyone.

What are the start and end times for the retreat?

Our retreat begins with a Welcome circle at 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 27th.

We’ll end with a Closing Circle on the morning of Sunday, October 30th, and will conclude our retreat at 11:00 am.

What will the food be like? Do you cater to dietary restrictions?

Our retreat will feature gourmet farm-to-table, plant-based meals prepared by a mindful chef. There will be gluten-free and dairy-free options at every meal; please let us know if you have any additional restrictions, preferences, or allergies.

Will there be any 1:1 support during the retreat?

Megan will be available for a select number of private coaching spots during the retreat. If you would like to inquire about adding a hypnotherapy or holistic coaching session into your experience, please email megan@megansherer.com to chat about your goals and desires.

Susan is also available for private consultations; her areas of expertise are in eliminating anxiety, burnout, and insomnia, and supporting high-performers into their next phase of growth and happiness.

What is the refund policy for this event?

If you need to cancel your attendance for any reason, we will do our best to fill your space and refund you the retreat fee minus the $500 non-refundable deposit per participant.

Do you offer payment plans for the retreat?

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to confirm your attendance.

The next payment of 50% of your remaining balance is due on September 15th, and the final balance is due on October 15th.
